History
I knew that being an attorney was my dream job as a nine year old kid. I attended UCLA for my bachelor degrees in History and Chicano/a Studies and I graduated with Cum Laude Honors. After graduation I worked as a community organizer in MacArthur Park in downtown Los Angeles where I helped the city's immigrant communities fight for and achieve safer and healthier living conditions in the rent-controlled apartments. As a community organizer I learned the value of helping the communities within Los Angeles that are in need of access to legal representation. I was reminded about my goal of being an attorney and after a few years as community organizer I worked in a corporate office handling major advertising for fortune 500 companies. I studied for the LSAT and shortly thereafter graduated from Loyola Law School with my Juris Doctor.
While in law school I was very involved in the Loyola Immigration Justice Clinic where I handled several immigration cases while was a second and third year law student. I clerked for two Superior Court judges in downtown Los Angeles and I clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney's office. Shortly after passing the California Bar I opened my own law firm and I have dedicated my practice to providing quality legal representation to the parts of our society who most need access.
